Method for representing the grade of silicon steel sheets for transformers
(1) Cold rolled non oriented silicon steel strip (sheet)
Indication method: DW 100 times the iron loss value (unit component iron loss value with a sinusoidal magnetic induction peak of 1.5T at a frequency of 50HZ) 100 times the thickness value. As indicated by DW470-50, the iron loss value is 4.7w/kg for cold-rolled non oriented silicon steel with a thickness of 0.5mm. The new type now indicates 50W470.
(2) Cold rolled oriented silicon steel strip (sheet)
Indicating method: DQ 100 times the iron loss value (the unit component iron loss value with a sinusoidal magnetic induction peak of 1.7T at a frequency of 50HZ) 100 times the thickness value. Sometimes adding G after the iron loss value indicates high magnetic induction. As indicated by DQ133-30, the iron loss value is 1.33 for cold-rolled oriented silicon steel strip (sheet) with a thickness of 0.3mm. The new type now indicates 30Q133.
(3) Hot rolled silicon steel plate
DR indicates that hot-rolled silicon steel plates are divided into low silicon steel (silicon content ≤ 2.8%) and high silicon steel (silicon content>2.8%) according to the amount of silicon content. Indicating method: 100 times the DR iron loss value (the unit component iron loss value when the maximum value of the 50HZ repeated magnetization and sinusoidal magnetic induction intensity is 1.5T) 100 times the thickness value. DR510-50 indicates a hot-rolled silicon steel plate with an iron loss value of 5.1 and a thickness of 0.5mm. The grade of hot-rolled silicon steel sheet for household appliances is indicated by JDR iron loss value thickness value, such as JDR540-50.
